Hitler, Adolf (1889 – 1945)

Dictator of nazi The Third Reich, since 1921 leader of NSDAP political party of the mass movement under the name National Socialism. In 1923 co-organizer of unsuccessful Munich coup d’etat. Sentenced to imprisonment. In prison wrote fundamental book of nazi movement “Mein Kampf”. In 1934 NSDAP won parliament elections and Hitler become German chancellor. In 1934 year at “the night of long knife” he liquidated opposition in nazi movement. Appoint himself to a post of “Führer” he introduced dictatorship, police terror (Gestapo), concentrations camps and racist anti Jewish repressions. In 1939 after Ribbentrop – Molotow pact  in cooperation with Stalin’s Soviet Union by aggression on Poland he began World War II. Terror on conquered territory turn into mass genocide and holocaust of Jews. He commit suicide in besieged Berlin.
