Chironex Fleckeri (CF) is a specie of box-shaped gelatinous jellyfish whose embryology and body form group it into the Phylum - Cnidaria under the Animal kingdom.
It is in the Class of Cubozoa, Order of Cubomedusae, Family of Chirodropidae and, Genus of Chironex.
Cnidaria is a variant of Phylum Coelenteron much talked about in the textbook.
It consist of five classes
* Anthozoa (Anenomes)
* Scyphozoa (The true Jellyfish)
* Hydrozoa (Hydra and family)
* Conulata (now extinct)
* Cubozoa.
