PUFFER FISH

 

 

Panther Puffer Fish:

 

This has relation with other fish such as tobies, sunfish, cowfish, and porcupine fish.   It is also called Toadfish.

It is mostly found in coastal waters and tidal creeks.

Black-Spot-Puffer

 

When provoked, it has a habit of inflating its bodies with air or water to balloon-like structure.   

It contains a lethal toxin of bacterium (Alteromonas Species) that makes it unsafe for consumption.
