NASSAU GROUPERS

Nassau Grouper is mostly found in the sea off the Gulf of Mexico and the
Caribbean. It is a rather large predator weighing about 800 pounds.
It appears to have a mild manner with men especially divers. However, it could be harmful by being over friendly with unlucky divers, grasping their fists and forearms into its large mouth.

| The danger inherent here is that its teeth, referred to as raspers are rather made to grasp prey without escape. A trapped arm would be difficult to disengaged from its mouth. |
