Ecology:CF is an aquatic animal found mostly in warm sea beds and oceans. In particular, it prefers the marine habitat, inshore or estuarine. However, it lives in both pelagic and epipelagic layers of the ocean in solitary.
Its geographical range includes:
* the warm tropical sea of Northern Australia (near shore)
* some coasts of Africa
* The Gulf of Mexico off Texas
* Indian Ocean (close to Australia)
* South-Eastern Asia
* Adjacent areas of the tropical Indo-west Pacific.
