How does an aeroplane stay in flight and not fall from the sky? How do gliders achieve the seemingly the super-human feat of flight without engine power? How do helicopters hover in one place and how do they manage vertical take-off? These questions and many like them can be answered with one word, Aerodynamics. Aerodynamics plays an important role in today's modern society and will become increasingly useful in the near future. In this site we will endeavour to provide a concise, accurate and fun presentation of the principle of aerodynamics for the benefit of all who visit the site, especially students wanting to learn more about the world around them. Our site will feature audio and video presentations. You will notice that we have a credits page.
