Development: The young hatch out of the eggs after about 3 months, and the larvae shed their skin for the last ime after a further 6 months.
Habitat: Paramenexenus laetus lives in the forest.
Special features: A feature of this species is a spoon shaped flap of skin which is found on the abdomen.
Keeping and breeding: This species is especially hard to breed. I spray them with water about 3 times per week, and I leave the eggs lying on the slightly damp ground.
