Effect
The magician has a person catch a dime that
the magician throws down into their hand. After several throws,
the person catches the dime, the magician shouts not to squeeze
the dime to hard. When their hand is opened the dime has changed
into a penny.
Note: It
can be a borrowed coin, and it does not have to be a dime.
Materials
1 dime(or other coin)
1 penny(or other coin)
Preparation
Have the penny palmed in the hand that you
will throw the coin.
Performance
You keep on throwing the coin down into their
hand until they can close in fast enough so they will not
realize that it is the penny that you threw, not the dime.
(encourage them to catch it faster)
