The magician begins the trick with
his or her left hand empty and right hand holding
a small penlight. The magician introduces his or her
left hand as stage, and the one with the penlight
spotlight. The magician procedes to shine the "spotlight"
on to the "stage" when the light goes out. The magician
explains that he or she has caprured the light. The
magician opens his or her left hand to reval nothing.
He magician once agian shines the light on his or
her left hand and opens it to revel a two inch sponge
ball. The magician vanishes the ball to have it reapear
in his or her pocket. THe magician then shines the
light on the ball and it glows and the light can be
transfered from the ball to the light and back several
times before letting the audience examin the sponge
ball.
