Welcome to The Magic Hall's beginner's guide to magic. This guide was made to allow people to learn about magic and decide what their future in magic will be. After participating in this course one should be able to use the rest of this sites resources to expand their magic abilities and further explore the world of magic. It is also this site's wishes that people also pass on the magic y teaching another of magic.

 

What is magic: Is it for me?

Magic, for this sites purposes, is a person implying that they are doing something, but really are doing something else to produce the emptied affect, the person being the magician. But magic can be what one makes it out to be. Magic can be used to con, as three card monte scam artist, or to entertain, like magician Lance Burton. This guide will teach you how to perform magic to entertain. Remember, anyone can do magic, id they put the time and effort into it. If you want to use this guide to con, cheat, or ridicule, this guide is not for you. Those who want to entertain, themselves or others, will be guided through the world of magic, sampling tricks from many different tricks and learning what being a magician is about.

 

Divisions in magic

Magic, like many other things, contains many deviant, or genres. Some of these genres may be known to you already, like card magic or coin magic. But there are no predetermined divisions. People over the years have tried to categorize magic division, but have found it difficult. Instead of staying in set deviations, magicians usually mix and combine many genres of magic in their shows, if not individual tricks. But usually, one genre is that magicians favorite or preferred genre. As a beginner in magic it is very important to find a genre of magic that is enjoyable to you, for by doing so, you gain further interest in magic as a whole. While important to do so, it is encouraged to try many magic tricks, and do keep all that amuse you. If you find a genre that you enjoy more, do not be afraid of switching.
