Interview with Sarah about creating and editing art work for the site

Q: What was your favorite part of working on the site, "A Woman Called Egypt"?
A: Grasping new skills and working with new programs.

Q: What new programs did you get to work with?
A: One program that I used was Adobe Photo Shop, a powerful program that is used by many professional graphic artists. I was able to use it to create collages and to add color to engravings and photos.

Q: What did you like about using Adobe Photo Shop?
A: It's easy and fun to use. It also gives photos a professional look.

Q: How did you edit the images?
A: I made sure that they looked their very best. I basically made sure that they weren't blurry or smudged. I could also edit and use only sections of the original, public domain photos and engravings to create a new work.

Q: What is your favorite piece of art on the site?
A: The collage on the front page would have to be my favorite.

Q: How long did it take to create most of the images?
A: Most images took an average of 45 minutes to an hour.
