| According to historians, Cleopatra wrote an instructional guide to cosmetics. The formulas were attributed to her. Both Egyptian men and women wore makeup. They would line their eyes heavily in black. They used malachite to color their eyelids green or blue.
They used carmine on their lips. To give their checks color they would mix red clay with saffron.

Since most people don't have the ingredients to create the makeup that Cleopatra would have worn, here is how you can look like Cleopatra.

A dark foundation can be used to give you a common Egyptian skin color, even
Eye Makeup: First, take black eyeliner and trace around your eye. Fishtail the eyeliner on the outside of the eyes. Then, use blue eye shadow and sweep it past the eyelid. Green eye shadow should then be used under the eyes.
The green eye shadow should also be swept past the eye.
The eyebrows should be darkened, usually with black. Egyptians would have shaved their eyebrows and used kohl to draw them back in. They would have drawn them with pointed edges and shaped as a triangle.
Most Egyptians shaved their heads and wore dark wigs, mostly black. So, to look even more like Cleopatra, a black wig can be worn.
