Help: Navigation - Scientific Notation - Symbols - Credits

Navigation:

Navigation in our pages is easy. In almost all the pages, the screen is divided into three parts: In the top you have the button for go to the back or the next page. Also you have the buttons go to another of the 4 sections and also a button for go to the search page and to the printable version.

In the left of your screen you have the content of the page. In the right you have the navigation bar of the section. Also you have in some pages a navigation bar in the upper part of the content, this navigation bar is for the subtopics of the article. For example in the Help Page you have this navigation bar for go to the subtopics related with the Help.

Scientific Notation

In some parts is used the scientific notation. If you see 3x10^8 that means . What means the number 3 with 8 zeros after (300.000.000)

Symbols

In several pages there are usen some symbols that are written with the Symbol font. If you can't see alfa and beta and you see only a and b in the following example, please install the Symbol Font:

alfa: a
beta: b

Credits

If you want to use an image or a text from our pages do the following:

  • If you want to use it for another webpage: All the content copyied must be between quotes. At the end of the text copied put the following text: "Source: The Optics /C003776/" Note that the URL must be linked to the address mentioned. The same text must be written after any imaged used.
