Introduction

The Optics book is a source for consulting about this little part of Physics for any person who want information about this topic. The objective that we want to complete doing this section is to be a help for the student and teacher and in general for any person, increasing his knowledge about the topic, giving a theory base for the discussions of the forums, and serving as source for consulting. In summary to be a good book about Optics, using all the resources that internet offer us.

We start the study of our book defining the concepts of Light and illumination, behaviour and nature of the Light, analysing several phenomenons like reflection and refraction, also we study the lenses and the changes that produce in the direction of the Light, their applications, etc. After that we made a study of the human eye and the optics instruments. After we made a study of the scattering and the electromagnetic spectrum, the color, the interferences and the diffraction, polarization and finally we made a study of quantum optics, the Light seen as a corpuscle.

Each page have recommended topics which are related directly to the text of the page, there are different types of recommended documents, including texts, images, applets and more. In the “recommended” section are also the links to the forums related to the theme treated in the page. If you have any information that you want to share or if you want to know about other opinions, please visit the forums.

If you have problems in the navigation or understanding the scientific notation or the use of symbols please visit the help page.
