We are three students from Singapore, Ecuador and United States. This page was made for ThinkQuest. A contest developed for students of ages from 12 to 19. It's a exciting experience. You learn much things like work in team with other persons of another culture, to make friends, to know about new and exciting cultures and lifestyles, also you learn about the topic you choose, about webdesign, about programming and more. It's a good challenge for anyone. It's not easy, but it's really interesting.

We had much problems doing this page, The first challenge we found was the comunication with Tim because the differences of timezone (13 hours) made difficult to comunicate with him, much days we had to stand up very early or go to bed very late for talk with him. He had to do the same sometimes. Other important challenge was the differences of languages, to comunicate was difficult sometimes. To translate the page into the other languages was also a dificult challenge, especially to translate it into Chinese. The lack of free time for the project was other challenge. I think the dificultest challenge we won was don't be near for work in team, when everyone is away, it's difficult to get comunicated and to be en contact all the time, so the team work is very difficult, but after some time working we learned to do it well. Other challenge was to learn about unknown topics, by our own way, I mean without teachers, not just learn about Optics, but also learn about webdesign, programation, use of CGIS, and other technologies.
