By far the most interesting aspect of space exploration is the presence of humans in space. From the first man in space in 1961 to the first man on the Moon in 1969, manned spaceflight has captured the imagination of the world. However, most members of the public have a very basic understanding of the science involved, as well as the motivation, implications and future prospects of human space exploration.

In this section, Astrobiology: The Living Universe take an extensive look at all the aspects involved in human space exploration - with five main categories holding 31 pages of information, you can be sure that you will learn a lot from this section, and you'll have fun doing it as well.
