| Physics Calculator (Advanced version) Instructions: This is the "Advanced" version of the physics calculator. This version allows you to calculate values other than force, mass, and acceleration. Each value requires other values in rder to be calculated. If you get an error message, try adding more values. The two sections, separated by a line, operate independent of each other. The calculator is a bit quirky, and you may find that somehtings just don't work right. If in doubt, turn to the trusty ole' pen and paper. |
Basic Calculator Significant Figures You either love them or hate them, but they're here to stay. Remember: When dividing or multiplying, the number of significant digits (of the answer) is equal to the smallest number of significant digits in any input. Confused? for a more through explanation, check out a helpful page from the University of Maine Chemistry Department. |
