Loch ness is a large
freshwater lake found in the British Isles. It is practically 40km wide and
about 150 metres deep. But researchers have discovered
that there are parts of the lake which go as far as 300 metres, and perhaps more,
deeper. Imagine a little, the island of Westin Stamford would be completely
submerged if put in the Loch ness!
It is in this lake that the Loch ness monster, commonly called as Nessie, has its habitat. Nessie is one of the strange phenomena, in fact since the 6th century, that cannot be overlooked. Until now, no concrete evidence has been found to prove that it really does exist though, despite the hundreds of research in vain done! Will Nessie ever reveal its secret to us?
