{ Shooter's Guidelines } Taking Photo's at the Fairground, Take pictures where most people have never thought of taking a picture such as half way down a rollercoaster. If you can slow down the shutter peed of your camera all the better. Blurred pictures give a speed effect. If you take a picture of your friends during a rollercoaster ride, they will be sharply in focus while everything else will be blurred. This is because they are effectively stationary to the camera while everything else is rushing past.(Bet their expressions will be funny!) If you can't slow the shutter speed , try some pictures anyway. Lots of rides are so fast they will give you some kind of blurred effect.
Not up to dare devil photography? Instead try taking some pictures at night using long exposures. This will draw lines and patterns on your film from any lights that are moving. The best time to do this is at dusk when the natural light is just bright enough to give you a background to the electric lights. Try leaning the camera against a post or rest it on a wall. This way its easy to hold it very still during a long exposure. The best pictures are made by experimentation. Try it; it's fun. Citation: |
