{ Disney World By Kyle}

Over the spring, I went to Disney World. Although it doesn't have as many coasters as Six Flags in St. Louis, it was a great experience. Using a new system at the park called Fast Pass, you can use your ticket and get a certain time to come back. At that time, you can get right on the ride, without waiting. This helped the lines tremendously. Disney World was a great place for youngsters and those who don't like too many intense rides. However, there's something for everyone!

Space Mountain
Located in the Magic Kingdom, Space Mountain is a coaster that is ridden in total darkness. Normally building long lines, it is a popular attraction there. I enjoyed the ride, especially the speed and sudden turns, and the darkness made it thrilling. I would recommend this ride to anyone who enjoys coasters and isn't afraid of the dark!

Big Thunder Mountain
This coaster's cars are designed like a train. A fast journey through caves, tunnels, and outside in the open fresh air past dinosaur bones makes this coaster a little milder than Space Mountain, but fun nonetheless.

Rockin' Roller Coaster
This new coaster at MGM Studios was by far the best in my opinion. From the moment you board you are racing. The coaster goes from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds. Two loops are located right at the beginning. The coaster also includes a corkscrew, and takes place mostly in the dark, save a few neon road signs. Designed as a tribute to Aerosmith, the group's songs blast from the speakers located right behind your head in the car. This coaster is a great thrill ride for all who love adventures!

CyberSpace Mountain
This ride is for all of the adventurers who can't find a roller coaster dangerous enough for them. Here, riders have the opportunity to first design their own the roller coaster, guided by everyone's favorite scientist from PBS, Bill Nye the Science Guy. Given 1,000 feet of track and various types of track designs, you create your perfect roller coaster. From loops, to barrel rolls, to knots, to figure eights, to straight track, the combinations are endless. After you have designed it and had it rated on how scary it was, you must name it, of course. My coaster's name? The Jolly Riot! That's not the end, though. Then you get to ride your coaster in a 360 degree simulator that looks like a big red barrel, with your coaster track on screen in front of you. You go upside down, sideways, and every other which way as you "ride" your own coaster. Think you can handle it?

Overall, I give Disney World four and a half out of five stars.
