Animal ambassadors are
trained animals who help teach people about
their species and about the environment where
they live in the wild. Most ambassadors are
trained when they're babies by a trainer whom
they learn to trust. These animals are made
to respond to a clicker that tells them they
are getting a treat for a job well done. You
can see ambassadors walking with their
trainers around the zoo or they may even make
appearances on television.
