the grizzly bear, males of this subspecies
can weigh over 1500 lbs. Their diet consists
mainly of plant material such as moss, bulbs,
fungi, and grasses, but carrion, fish and
small mammals may also be eaten. Brown bears
have extremely keen senses of hearing and
smell.
