Fahrenheit

Named after a German physicist, Gabriel Daniel Fahrenheit (1686-1736).  A temperature scale in which water freezes at 32° and boils at 212°.

To change from Fahrenheit to Celsius:

1)Take the Fahrenheit temperature and minus 32.
     212 F - 32 = 180.
2)Then multiply by five-ninths (5/9). To get the temperature in Celsius.
     180x5/9= 100 C.

3)To change to degrees in Kelvin. add 273 to the degrees in Celsius.
     100 C + 273 = 373 K.
