Named after the Swedish astronomer and physicist, Andres Jonas Angstrom (1814-1874). An unit of length, equal to one ten millionth of a millimeter (dang that's small!!!!) or equal to 10^-10 meter, primarily used to express electromagnetic wavelengths.
