| Take 2: Interactive Film is a web site devoted to the study of film as an artform. It delves into the different aspects of theory, history, technology, special effects and much more. The site will be of use to those interested in learning more about film, and looking into studying film in a post-secondary institution with the idea of continuing into the field. Through reading about film, and doing hands-on and written assignments the viewer will get a greater understanding of film and how it has evolved over the course of 100 years. They will do such hands-on assignments as animation, claymation, flipbooks, zoetropes and acualité shots to get them better acquainted with the camera and camera shots. The written assignments will be storyboarding and short script-writing. Which will be used as the basis of other assignments. The overall goal of Take 2: Interactive Film is to bring people who like movies, into the world of film and give them a better understanding of the how's and who's of film. This web site will also be able to be used at schools to teach students about film and hopefully developed into a credit course for home study.
