The whole world seems to be going through an extremely long drought and the drought is predicted to be another 2 years. The only water we have left is salt water and prepackaged foods such as water, soda, and citrus fruits, but people can not survive on these types of foods for very long without pure water. Huge companies are extracting the salt and other harsh chemicals from salt water to make drinking water. The process is extremely expensive and can drive up the cost of a 20 oz. bottle of water to over $67 (US Dollars as seen in the year 2000). People are turning to drinking juice straight from juicy plants such as cactus. We need to get water to the people or they may go into a state of severe dehydration very quickly.
