The Wakashes, speaking a proper language, was a group of populations of Indians of America, once appropriated in Canada, in prevalence in the coastal region between the rivers Fraser and Skeena. Some of the most important tribes that he/she understood were the Bella-Bella (or Heiltsuk), the Kwakiutls, the Nootkas. The Wakashes were fishermen and nomadic hunters. I/you/they have reduced to small nomadic groups that they live in the forests or on the islands by now.
