The Passamaquoddies (whose name derives from the locution peskede makadi, that means "abundant of degree", that is a kind of herring) I/you/they are a tribe of Indians of America, of language algonchina. The around 600 individuals survivors live in the Reserves of Pleasant Point and Indian Township currently, in the County of Washington, Maine.
