The Micmacs are a tribe of Indians of America belonging to the group linguistic algonchino. The term Micmac derives from migmak or nigmak, that it means allied. they Occupy New Scotland, the island Cape Breton, the island Prince Edward and the New Beunswick. The Micmacs were seminomadi, experienced canoeists and fishermen. You/they had divided in clan.
