COCHITI

The Cochitis are a pueblo of language Keresane appropriated on the I Get back Great to south of Saint Fe', in the New Mexico. The Cochitis were moved to their actual reserve of their country of origin of the Canyon Frijoles, today Bandelier National Monument, in the New Mexico. The ruins of their ancient villages are found in the proximities of the Mesa Cochiti. In 1970 the population was revolved around the 500 individuals. Their economic activity more important they are the agriculture, the jewelry and the ceramics. The earth cochita is the country of Helen Cordero, the potter known on international staircase whose ceramics group called "Narrator", a ceramics form edged by babies grasped among them, is appreciated by the collectors and largely imitated.
