ARAPAHO

The Arapahos are a tribe of Indians of America, belonging to the group linguistic algonchino, once appropriated in the Minnesota and, to the time of the colonization, migrated in the basin of the river Platte. The most famous of their heads during the Indian wars was Little Raven that, in 1867, it signed his/her people in the name of peace with the white. The Arapahos had transferred therefore in 1867 in a reserve of the Oklahoma and in 1876 in a reserve of the Wyoming, where they live today still. The survivors until to today they are around 4.000 individuals.
