Anaconda Snake (Eunectes nurinusis)

The anaconda snake of one of the largest snake species present in the world. It is found among the foliage of the Amazon rainforest. A matured anaconda snake can grow up to 9m in length and weigh 181kg.

The snake’s diet includes many animals, including capybaras, agouti, other snakes and even crocodiles. The anaconda snake hunts by hanging on branches, waiting for the ideal moment to strike, or hides under the waters, anticipating any prey within the striking range.
