BRABANT FIGHTS AGAINST WATER

There is a true flow of migration started in the watershed of the Maas, Waal and the Lek. Now, 10.000 people are trying to find a save place to stay. This leads to a big queue on the highway. The dikes in the Bommelerwaard and in the land of Heusden and Altena can burst at any moment . Now the people are not calling this a water annoyance anymore, now it is considered a water disaster.

The animals who have to leave are going to other farmers.

But not only people have to leave, also the cows, sheep and pigs of the farmers. They evacuate the animals with cattle-trucks and trains to other farmers where the animals can stay until the end of the flood. The trains have to wait that day for 3 hours and even then only carry a cargo of 70 sheep while they could transport 4000 animals.
