The water in the Maas dropped a little that day. But there is no reason to be happy because the weather forecast is not good.

In North and Middle Limburg the first sandbags appear. Along the wharf of the Maas and Roemond people made an emergency dike to keep the center of Roemond dry.

A shopkeeper making is shop waterproof

In the center of Venlo the shopkeepers made their shop waterproof. Hoses are hanging out of the cellar and the pumps are standing by. One shopkeeper said: "let the water come."
