BRABANT FIGHTS AGAINST WATER

 

The heavy weather in Europe has already cost more than 25 lives. In the Netherlands there were no casualties, no injured or killed. Only the weather in the Netherlands isn't good. The KNMI predicts a hard wind what is bad for the dikes

The water will reach that day  at 12:00 a high of 46 meters above the NAP. The problem with that high water is that no one can leave Itteren anymore. So they cant evacuee people from  Itteren  they can only rescue people then.

Borgharen is swimming in the water.

At 5 o'clock in the midday  the police and the fire workers are leaving Borgharen because they are afraid the dike is to low to stop the water. The people who are staying in Borgharen have a big problems then the water is going over the dikes. Because then they can only be rescued by a helicopter. The police and the fire works had right because that day the first water of the Maas is going over the dikes.

Also the first support express  is coming from other countries. To be exactly  the first support is coming from Caritas Bangladesh. Jeffrey Pereira from Caritas Bangladesh write that every one in Bangladesh feel sympathize with the people in the Netherlands.
