BRABANT FIGHTS AGAINST WATER

Monday 23 January
The messages from the foreign countries prospect the worst thing. In France, Germany and in Luxembourg has it rained non-stop for many days the rivers are growing there.The prediction for the Maas weren't also good. They were certain that the rivers flooded its banks. Brabant hasn't to fear yet, because only the water meadows where flooded and that isn't the worst part. That day the Maas stayed on the same level.
Tuesday 24 January
The water in the Maas fail that day a little. But it isn't a reason to be happy because the weather forecast weren't good. In north and Middle-Limburg appear the first sandbags. Along the wharf of the Maas wharf in Roemond the people are making a emergency dike to keep the center of Roemond dry. In the center of Venlo are the shopkeepers making there shop waterproof.
Shopkeepers are making the shops waterproof.
Wednesday 25 January
The first people get the advise to leave there house. This regards to the people in Itteren en Borgharen. In totally 3600 people get the advise to leave there house. Rijkswaterstaat [..] don't know how high the highest point the water will reach.There are reports that the water will come higher than 46 meters above the N.A.P. But according to Rijkswaterstaat is every thing possible.
Thursday 26 January
The heavy weather in Europe has cost already more than 25 lives. In the Netherlands is happiness no one injured or killed. Only the weather in The Netherlands isn't good. The KNMI predict a hard wind what is isn't good for the dikes
