After the water logging of 1952 one thing was sure. This should never happen again. But there was one big question: how can you prevent such disaster in the future? After many investigations they build the Delta Projects. What are the Delta Projects and why are they build and how? And why didn't they just build higher dikes and were there any alternatives? The Measlandkering

The Measlandkering  is the latest Delta Project that is build as part of the Delta Plan. The Measlandkering is very beautiful and that is the reason why we made a separate page on it.
