Friday 27 January

In Limburg is the first evacuation a fact, because the first 3000 people has to leave there houses for the continually rising water. And a other 1000 people are considering of leaving there house. The Maas has already reached a high of 5,63 meter above the N.A.P. The Maas by Itteren is now so high that the people who stayed in Itteren cant leave there village because the river floods the access roads.

 

Saturday 28 January

The Maas is still rising. The people in other places are now much more worried about the water. Some villages are even preparing a evacuation for. Today  also some ministers are coming to the areas who are flood. And of course the first onlookers at disasters are coming but the authorities have already taken some measures to prevent inconvenience.

 

Sunday 29 January

The inhabitants of the Bommelerwaard are preparing a evacuation for. In totally 46000 people ahs to leave there houses. The most of them are going to family or friends. Now is the A2 [ a very important highway in Holland] by Den Bosch   in danger to be flooded. People try to prevent it from flooding but it  was to late.

Fire workers are standing by a flooded road side emergency telephone.

Monday 30 January

There is a true migration of nation started in the water shed of the Maas, Waal and the  Lek. Now 10.000 people are trying to find a save place to stay. This leads to big queue on the highway. The dikes in the Bommelerwaard and in the land of Heusden and Altena can every moment bursting. Now are the people aren't calling  this anymore  a water annoyance but they are now calling  it now a water disaster.
