Celebrating our heroes

As heroic feats aren't preformed with the thought of being thanked for helping others, celebrating your hero in any way can be the ultimate way for expressing your admiration and appreciation.

There are many ways in which we can thank the people who change our lives and the lives of others. While some will follow their hero's amazing stories to the very end, others build shrines, name roads and parks after them and create artwork to commemorate the achievements of someone. Some even award these outstanding humans with gifts and awards to announce their actions to the rest of the world.

Even though some heroes may remain nameless, like the many thousands of anonymous blood donors every year, you can still show your thanks by following their lead and making a donation to help others as unknown to you as you are to them. Here the role of the hero is extended to everyone who is touched by it.

There are many ways in which we can do this: we can donate or join their organisations, or we can teach others about the actions of this hero. But the ultimate way we can show gratitude towards our heroes is to strive to make a difference to this world in the way they have, by getting out there and improving the lives of others.
