GENERAL QUESTIONS

What is the main goal of the site?
The main goal of the site is to educate people, in a simple, creative, and constructive way so that they can have a greater appreciation for all aspects of music.

Why is this site important?
This site is important because it is designed to educate as many people as possible on the importance of music to humans. By educating people on the importance of music, this site hopes to enable people to do more with music so that they can have a more meaningful existence.

Is this compatible with all major browsers?
Yes. This site was developed with the approach that not everyone would have the latest browser. We developed this site so that those who are using older browsers like Netscape Navigator 3.0 and Internet Explorer 3.0 can still view the site as well as those who have new browsers.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE SITE

Was this site developed entirely independent of other sites?
Yes. All ideas and concepts as well as layout and images where conceived without the need to masquerade other sites. In addition, all the images used on the site are original and were created for the site by the authors.

Who created this site?
This site was created through the collaborative work and knowledge of Gary Gong, Ahundova Fidan, and Jaime Werner. For more information on the authors, visit the authors page.

How long did the creation of the site take?
It took roughly seven months to compose the entire site. However, like the art of music, the site can never be completely finished because music, like time, is forever in a constant march forward.

Was the site created with a lot of help from the team's coach, or did the students take on the burden of the workload?
This site was created entirely by the authors. It was the mindset of the authors that if we could not compete against our peers with minimal help from adults, then we should not be competing at all.

How did the authors of the site stay in contact with each other?
The authors stayed in contact with each other mainly through the Internet: electronic mail, video conferencing, and instant messaging. The team members have never met face-to-face, but have conversed regularly through the Internet.

FUTURE OF THE SITE

Are the authors planning on further developing the site?
We promise to keep this site innovative and accessible as the arts and technology evolve. As more of the benefits of music are discovered, we will continue to update the site so that our site will continue to be a one-stop information source.

Will the site be translated into other languages besides English and Russian?
Yes. Additional translations are planned as the authors progress in their foreign language classes, including Turkish, Spanish, and Azeri.

How can I be sure of the accuracy of the essays?
The accuracy of the essays were checked by learned scholars in the arts and double-checked by a historian. Therefore, the error margin is small, leaving the essays to be virtually free of errors.
