The Keyboard Family includes one of the most versatile, popular, and beautiful instruments of all time, the piano. It also includes many extremes. Such as the simple, old harpsichord, and the new, modern synthesizer.

Also in this family is the organ, an instrument which appears incredibly complex, but in fact has existed longer than many of the other instruments in this category.

Although some other instruments, notably the celesta and accordion, seem as though they might belong here... they don't. The celesta has an internal xylophone making it a percussion instrument, and the accordion uses air pushed over reeds, making it a woodwind.
