Hi, everyone, I am Leong Wei Shu from
The Chinese High School in Singapore. I was utmost honoured to do this project with my
great friends, Chee Yong and Wei Yang. What had I learnt from this project? Probably team
spirit the most. However from all those research, I have known more about light and its
properties.
Basically, my job in this group is mainly is to research and
compiling notes. The difficulty of this job is the ability to overcome the obstacles in
the job such as being boring, tiredness etc. The tonnes of notes had to be summarised,
changed, rephrased, and therefore making the job harder. Moreover light, this topic, had a
wide range of information. Also, as a sec1 only, I had to check the dictionary and
thesaurus again and again as some of the words are too hard for me. Thinkquest is also a
time for me to brush up my computer skills and English.
In the case of brushing up my computer skills, I had learnt how
animate an object or pictures etc. In the 21st century, it is important to
equip yourself with computer skills.
The most important is to know time management. As I am in The
Chinese High School, tonnes of homework is given, I had to know my time well. Recreation,
school, homework and projects can be all together in one day if you know your time well.
Lastly, I am grateful to have these two friends to work on this
project; not only I had benefited from this project, I have known the importance of
friendship and team spirit.
