Steve messaged Watson about two weeks after My TQ system was opened and asked him to join his team because of his ex-finalist experience. Steve had the idea and Watson was also looking for a teammate. Watson was then free for major ideas and was eager to get to work.
Eric entered the picture when Watson went to Scream Design Chat, and by pure coincidence, found Eric. Eric showed Watson his excellent portfolio and Watson roped Eric into the team. Now, the team was complete. Individual members chose their coaches, themselves.
The topic was selected as it has relevance to everyone, since in a lifetime, be it work or school, a person will need oratory. Steve did research by visiting sites in the ThinkQuest Library and found that it was not well covered. The idea came to mind, being a debater in school, he was interested in this topic.
Naturally, many chat sessions were held where the outline was refined in order to remain on focus. Core focus was on oratory and debate so that the topic could be covered sufficiently. Eric created the layout promptly and through discussions, the team decided on some color changes, layout and also the symbol - The African Gray Bird.
Eventually, the content was separated into 15 chapters, with each having a specific subject. Completed work was sent by email to Steve who organized it and replied with suggestions on improving it.
So, through accumulation, the whole site is done and here we present to you a complete site.
