Keep your legs at the same height and then place your guitar on your right leg so that the neck points to the left.

Left Arm

The left arm should be placed so that it is perpendicular to the ground while the hand just meets the guitar neck. The left hand should be held around the guitar so that the thumb is behind the neck of the guitar and the 4 fingers are on the fret board
