Individual women have stoot out throughout history in all fields. This section is dedicated to those outstanding women. Most of the biographies in this section are on female politicians and activists and many are from the United States, but we would like to stress that there have been important women from all over the world in all fields, from the sciences to entertainment and athletics.
There are many many more women we would like to do biographies on, so we will be updating our site. If the woman you are looking for is not on our current list, please check our adjunct site for new updates between August and November, 2000. After November, we will be updating this site.
