All tigers are endangered. In fact, four types of tigers are allready extinct. One of these, the Sabortoothed tiger, was extinct millions of years ago.  The Caspain tiger, which used to live in central Asia, became extict in about 1965.  The Bali tiger lived on an island south of China until somewhere around 1950.  Some people say that they still see Javan tigers, which lived on the island just south of Cina called Java.  However, scientists think that the last one died in 1979.    

   Tigers used to live all over mainland Asia, and on th islands of Sumatra, Java, Bali, and Indonesia.  The reason they don't live in most of these places any more is because people are destroying their habitat.  Tigers don't deserve this kind of treatment.  No animal does.   There are many organizations that are trying to help save the tigers.  It isn't hard to find out how you can help.  Look at it from their point of view.   Save the tigers.
