Basketball
Basketball is called "America's game." It is now played all over the world.Basketball was first started in a gym in Springfield, Massachusetts. Today the basketball hoop is part of America's landscape. Basketball is played by dribbling a ball down a court and shooting it at a goal. If you foul, double-dribble, travel, or do back and forth the other team will receive the ball or get foul shots. When you first start the game you do a tip off. A tip off is when the ref throws the ball in the air and you jump up and try to hit it to your teammates.
