Here are some class activities your class can try:

1. You can have your own Olympics in the classroom, or outside, and have running races, class sport games, etc.  For example you could have your teacher time your peers and yourself.  You could make a starting line and record the times so you know who the winner is.

2. You can also have educational Olympic trivia from the information on this web page.   You could make flash cards with the answers on the back.  Then your teacher can quiz your class and yourself.  Again you could have a score sheet.

3. One more thing you can do is have an award ceremony for the kids in your class that participated in activity #1.  You could have the song " The Star Spangle Banner" playing in the back round.  Also you could make medals for the winners and have boxes they can stand on.  The first place person would stand on the tallest box, the second place person would stand on the second biggest box, and the third place person would stand on the third tallest box.  Good luck everyone.
