    Nearly 7,000 athletes with retardation from 150 different countries will compete in 19 sports. The athletes will compete in aquatics, athletics, badminton, basketball, bocce, bowling, cycling, equestrian sports, football, golf, gymnastics, powerlifting, roller skating, sailing, soccer, softball, table tennis, team handball, tennis, and volleyball.
