What is Cancer? Treatments  Effects

Interview

One of the deadliest diseases in America is Cancer.  It is a group of diseases caused by uncontrolled growth and spread of abnormal cells.  It all starts with one cancer cell which grows and reproduces.  Not all cells reproduce so quickly though.  That is what makes this disease so deadly.

Surprisingly, cancer doesn't have that great of an effect like some other diseases that cause you not to move, or talk, or anything else.

Even though surgery is the most common way to remove cancerous cells, there are many other ways doctors have found to help.
